Intern Architect

Opsis Architecture, LLP is a leading Northwest firm combining a commitment to design excellence with a passion for innovative sustainable solutions. Our practice ranges from Higher Education and Cultural Arts to Community Centers, and Commercial Development, with projects throughout the western states.

Opsis is looking for a Intern Architect with 3-6 years of experience who possesses the skills for production of projects from preliminary project design through a complete set of contract documents. The successful candidate will understands building construction, building codes and accessibility compliance.

INTERN ARCHITECT

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on design projects, encompassing all phases of architectural process.
  • Work with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
  • Resolve technical and design issues.
  • Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination.
  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited University.
  • 3 – 6 years of experience in the field of architecture.
  • Architectural license or actively working toward licensure.
  • Related architecture and design experience with a strong background designing multiple building typologies of varying scale.
  • Ability to focus on variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
