opsis architecture

Over the last 10 years Opsis has designed over 150,000 square feet of new facilities for the Pierce College Fort Steilacoom Campus. The framework for this major campus expansion has been our College Facilities long-range Master Plan. The planning process evaluated programs and facilities campus wide as to their relative functionality, quality and appropriate relationships. New building sites were planned to work with the steep topography by creating a series of linked courtyards between buildings stepping up to the ridgeline that affords dramatic views of the Olympic Mountains. The interactive process involved a large planning team representing students, administration, staff and each academic program.
