Amber Ghory

A seasoned interior designer, Amber Ghory brings 12 years of experience working on k-12, higher education, health care, and multi-family housing projects. She approaches each project as a work of art – a 3D environment of color, texture and pattern that inhabitants can interact with in their daily lives. She is currently working on the Sam Barlow High School project.

Prior to joining Opsis, Amber worked at several prestigious architectural firms in Portland, Oregon and Boston, Massachusetts. While at Payette Associates, she worked on the Faculty of Arts & Sciences Campus for Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan and the Institute of Science and Technology for Skolkovo University in Moscow, Russia. She has extensive experience working with Boston Children’s Hospital, creating nurturing spaces that are colorful, playful, and energetic. Additionally, she was commissioned by an art gallery to create paintings that have been featured at the Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as other Boston-area hospitals.

Amber earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. She is an active member of IIDA, and served on the 2016 Oregon Chapter Board as the Forums Chair.
