Nate Wood

AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Nate approaches every project with the belief that an architect’s role is first and foremost a problem solver, seeking smart and beautiful solutions through an understanding of user needs and the unique context of each site.

As the child of a member of the military, Nate spent his formative years moving around the country. From this upbringing, Nate developed a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and infectious sense of humor. His exposure to a myriad of people and places instilled the insight that if you build something well, with a quest for beauty in its design, your legacy will be preserved. Today, Nate is happy to call Portland, Oregon his home and focuses on creating architecture that celebrates and preserves the bio-diversity of the region.

Currently, Nate is working on the Clackamas Community College Industrial Technical Center, Phase 2 of the Shiley Engineering Building at the University of Portland and the Jefferson Middle School Renovation and Addition for the Eugene School District 4J. He is a licensed architect in the state of Oregon and a LEED Accredited Professional. He earned a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Architecture from Clemson University.
