Memorial Union Renovation

The Memorial Union Renovation was a complex renovation with a dozen stakeholder groups and unique program types, from a premier event and meeting space to a teaching kitchen, cafe and new home for facilities and maintenance.

Revenue streams for the event space and cafe were critical to the student union’s operations. Opsis worked with the University and the CM/GC to create a schedule that would deliver a project on-time and operational for the following academic year. Minimizing disruptions to the remaining part of the union and keeping it open to the university community during construction was a priority.
