Dixon Recreation Center Renovation

Oregon State University

Through targeted upgrades to recreation center amenities and building systems, the Dixon Recreation Center project enhances the climbing experience and environment for OSU students.

Location: Corvallis, OR
Design-Build: Lease Crutcher Lewis

The renovation work included the transformation of the existing indoor climbing center, offering new climbing surfaces with thoughtfully designed routes that introduce varied and engaging topography, a Kilter Board for interactive, adjustable climbing, and improved air quality throughout the space.

Additional renovations include Dixon’s East Entrance with an upgraded reception desk, racquetball and squash courts and expanded space for treating sport club participants’ athletic injuries.

Opsis led the initial schematic design for the renovation of the Dixon Recreation and completed the project with Design-Build partner Lease Crutcher Lewis to deliver the project.
