Opsis is excited to welcome Conor Wood to our team and announce the promotions of Chris Roberts to Opsis Principal and Erica Dunn to Associate Principal!
Chris Roberts, AIA, was promoted to Opsis Principal. With 19 years of experience at Opsis and more than 27 years in the architectural profession, Chris brings a depth of expertise in architectural design and project management to all the sports, recreation and higher education projects he is a part of. His architectural philosophy of innovative pragmatism draws inspiration from the unique sense of place inherent in every campus and community. His skills and expertise have been honed from work on projects ranging in size and complexity from the award winning, long span mass timber Idaho Central Credit Union Arena at the University of Idaho to performing arts centers, libraries, and recreation centers throughout the Pacific Northwest. Chris’s thoughtful integration of timber products within sports and recreation venues places him at the forefront of innovation in the practice, application and design possibilities of sustainable materials in the built environment. Chris is passionate about a process of discovery that benefits all people and communities by integrating program and client needs through a sustainable and innovative design approach.
Erica Dunn, AIA, CPHC, LEED AP, was promoted to the role of Associate Principal at Opsis. Since joining Opsis in September 2022, Erica has inspired and built strong team and client partnerships through her excellence in management and design thinking. Committed to a sustainable future and creating a positive impact within our community, Erica brings more than 19 years of experience in architecture with the last 12 years dedicated to zero energy projects. Erica believes architecture, when developed through a collaborative design process, can empower communities to be more connected, more resilient, and more likely to find delight in the world around them. Erica is a recognized leader in sustainable design, recently honored as one of eight new Fellows in the New Building Institute’s Senior Fellows program.
Conor Wood, AIA, joins Opsis as a designer and construction administration specialist with 12 years of architectural, interior design and project management experience from a diverse set of project types. His previous work encompasses residential, commercial office, hospitality, retail, laboratory, and higher education buildings.
