Patricia Reser Center for the Arts recognized by the AIA Northwest and Pacific in the 2022 Design Awards

Opsis is honored to announce the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts (The Reser) is one of fourteen projects out of 100 entered that received recognition for design excellence in the 2022 Design Awards from AIA Northwest and Pacific. Receiving a Citation Award in the Institutional/Commercial Category, The Reser is the first new civic performance arts center built in the Portland Metro area in over 30-years.

The Patricia Reser Center for the Arts (The Reser) is a state-of-the-art performance, visual arts and education center. It’s envisioned as a regional cultural arts attractor for Beaverton’s diverse, vibrant arts community and focal point of the Creekside Beaverton Central District adjacent to Beaverton Creek, the new parking structure, light rail station, City Hall, condominiums, boutique hotel and restaurants. The 46,366 sf facility is a new model for a financially sustainable performing and visual arts center, and a catalyst for development within its emerging urban context.

Thank you to the jurors and congratulations to City of Beaverton, Patricia Reser Center for the Arts, the Opsis team and our partners! For more about the winners, visit the AIA Northwest and Pacific’s website.
