The new Equity and Community Resource Center (ECRC) at Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) creates a welcoming and inclusive living-room atmosphere where students can come to relax, study, gather, eat and access resources.

The transformative renovation of the former bookstore provides a central location where all of the resources available to students are within reach. This easy access helps minimize barriers for individuals seeking assistance through the food pantry and housing support services.
The design of the ECRC also welcomes families with a children’s zone, and supports students with spaces for eating, studying, access to learning resources, communal laptops and wireless hotspots.
