Opsis Celebrates Three Promotions

We are excited to announce the newest promotions at Opsis. Please join our team in recognizing the following individuals:

Senior Associate:

Paulina Wilkowski was promoted to Senior Associate. With 20 years of experience as an architect and designer across the arts, commercial, adaptive-reuse and creative projects, Paulina now leads as project architect for the Columbia River Maritime Museum’s Mariners Hall – a 26,000-sf, vessel-inspired mass timber expansion. She has guided the project through an iterative design process, aligning design with fabrication and coordinating exhibits, building systems, and storytelling from concept through construction. Paulina champions clarity and visual storytelling, embraces change and leverages technology to turn complexity into opportunity. Known for her agile problem-solving, she keeps her team organized and projects evolving – collaboratively crafting environments that perform and inspire.

Associate:

Carolyn Kerr was promoted to Associate. Carolyn is an architect with a passion for projects that give back to the earth and engage the community. With more than four years of experience at Opsis, Carolyn has grown her skills in design process iteration, collaboration and sustainable design implementation. Carolyn has supported the engagement and design for a range of community center and higher education projects, including the Tillamook Bay Community College Health Education Building, the City of Happy Valley Community Center, City of Hillsboro’s M&M Marketplace Concept Design and Clackamas County Oak Lodge Library. Carolyn also brings her skills as a designer to volunteer work for the Architecture Foundation of Oregon’s (AFO) Architects in Schools program.

Nicole Rousseau was promoted to Associate. With 16 years of experience, Nicole brings a thoughtful, business-minded approach to Opsis’s operations. She began her career in dental finance and office management, building a strong foundation in insurance, accounts receivable and client service. At Opsis, she oversees a range of financial and administrative functions, including payroll, project billing, benefits coordination and office operations. A natural problem-solver, Nicole is driven by efficiency and continuous learning, with a focus on leveraging software to streamline workflows firmwide.
